The side dishes are meals unto themselves with such special creations as brisket stuffed jalapeno poppers, along with fried okra, coleslaw, beans and more. Hutchin’s is another great place to take the kids, but be forewarned as the restaurant has long lines to get in during the most popular times on evening and weekends. Nevertheless, kids love the dessert bar that includes banana cream pie, ice cream and peach cobbler. Kids, as well as grownups love the unlimited side dishes too, which means you’ll never leave hungry.

If you can’t get enough of good southern cooking, Mash’d will serve it up to you, along with a good dose of rebellious American spirit.
